Colts 30 Titans 28 Quick Recap

It was good to see some fire out of this team tonight.  There wasn't any quit in the players tonight.  I do feel a little bit like Jeff Fisher quit when he didn't go for it on a 4th and 1 in the fourth quarter.  The defense had just gotten a stop, but the odds of them getting two in a row were very slim.  Sure enough the Colts got a big play because the Titans missed a couple of tackles and kicked the field goal that ended up putting the game out of reach.

Can someone please explain to me why this coaching staff couldn't figure out a way to get Randy Moss and Kenny Britt on the field at the same time?  Don't give me the crap excuse that they play the same position because it doesn't take a genius to figure out that having Moss on the field over Nate Washington and Justin Gage is a huge upgrade.  Seems to me that it would make sense to have the best players on the field all of the time, but then again I am not an NFL coach.

This is frustrating because it is another game that the Titans let get away that they could have won.  It is also extrememly frustrating because it actually does mean the end of any meaningful football for the Titans for 10 months, but I am encouraged by some of the things that I saw tonight.  The effort was there tonight.

More on this game in the morning.
