Leroy Harris has achieved a rare but dubious distinction in his first year starting on the Titans' offensive line: he's warranted a negative grade from Pro Football Focus for every game so far in 2010. Thats simply atrocious, and while he isn't alone in having a bad year, you have to wonder how his consistently sub-par play has effected this line's ability to get on the same page and dominate like we're used to seeing by this point in the season. On a more positive note, PFF gave Alterraun Verner another above-average grade, which as been the status-quo for the rookie. He has stopped making the big plays since the team started moving him from outside to inside whenever the nickel package comes in, but Verner has still been rock-solid in coverage all year.
Paul K has a good piece up about Peyton Manning's recent struggles vs. the Titans' embattled LBs. Manning has thrown 4 of his 11 picks to linebackers, but the Titans' linebackers have done very little to help in the turnover department all year. One of those two is going to change tonight, and it damned well better be our guys who step up.
TitansInsider looks at why the Moss effect has fizzled out for the run game, though the burden is still on dumb penalties and abandoning the run too often, best I can see it.

The Titans defense is holding strong at no. 6 in this week's DVOA ratings, but the offense has plummeted to 23rd in the league.
The Dominique Edison era in Nashville may finally be coming to an end as the invisible QR was released from the practice squad to make room for the re-signing of Pete Ittersagen, who was cut lose last month.
Matt Bowen from NFP deals out 5 things to know about tonight's game.
Chad Pennington is facing his 3rd career shoulder surgery, but he's about 50-50 on if he can get another NFL team to pay for his next shoulder surgery as well.
