I promised I wouldn't bring this up again, but with what has happened to the defensive tackles on this roster I couldn't help myself. The Titans didn't make the move to bring Albert Haynesworth back before the trading deadline presumably because the Redskins asking price was too high. It was rumored that the wanted a second rounder for Fat Albert. The Titans weren't willing to go that high because they felt good about their defensive tackle rotation.
Fast forward about 6 weeks- The Titans have 2 healthy defensive tackles right now, and they are Jovan Haye and Marques Douglas. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that neither of those guys are going to make the Pro Bowl. In fact, here is what Pro Football Focus had to say about Haye in their weekly Re-Focused article:
And with the opportunity to rest his tired legs gone, Jovan Haye (-5.3*) was a lamb to the slaughter of the right side of the Texans line. They didn’t allow him to get a single pressure, and he ended the day with just one tackle as he was rendered virtually impotent.

Pretty strong words there. Obviously today will be the first injury report of the week, but I am not sure that Jason Jones, Sen'Derrick Marks or Tony Brown will be able to play this week. Jones never practiced last week, Marks wasn't able to walk to the bus under his own power after the game, and Brown hasn't been able to get his knee right all the way back to last season. Now one good sign that a couple of those guys might be good is that the Titans haven't added at DT to the roster which leads me to believe 1 or 2 of those guys should be good to go because I can't see them heading into the game against the Jaguars with only 2 healthy DTs.
Gramsey will be along momentarily to tell you what the Titans will see from the Jags this week with only 2 healthy DTs..
Sure would be nice to see Mr. Haynesworth eating up some space in the middle of that line about now.
