After the jump is a roundup of where the Titans are ranked in various power rankings around the internet for Week 13. It will be updated as more rankings are posted.
|This Week||Last Week||Commentary|
||17||The Titans looked flat and uninspired, as they failed to move the ball or score against a Houston defense that has struggled.|
|National Football Post
||With Rusty Smith at QB, it is time to close the book on the Titans.|
||No matter what you saw from Cortland Finnegan, it looks like this team is down for the count.|
||19||They might be playing for their season this week against the Jaguars. It looks like Kerry Collins will be back, which is a much-needed boost to the offense.|
|SB Nation||18||16||For all the turmoil that's going on in Tennessee right now, this team sits one game out of first place. The next three weeks, they host all three other AFC South foes and end the season at Indianapolis. If they want it, they can win the division.|
Tennessee's struggles of late are symptomatic of so many teams this season. When you can't get consistently good play out of the quarterback position you're probably going to be a less than .500 team.
||Running back Chris Johnson was held to just five yards rushing on seven carries on Sunday as Houston put as many men in the box at all times to stop the explosive runner. The Titans were held scoreless against the 31st-ranked defense, and it's starting to get hard to blame the offensive struggles on just injury issues. (#26 Ouch!- From Jimmy)
