Titans vs. Chargers Game Notes

Ironic that the Titans head out to their own House of Horrors on Halloween.  Here is a look at the series history between the Titans and Chargers:

  • The Chargers lead the all-time series 24-16-1
  • The Chargers have won the last 7
  • The Titans are 5-15-1 all-time in San Diego
  • The last meeting was Christmas last year.  Click here if for some weird reason you want to remember that game.
  • The last trip to San Diego, again if you really want to remember, was this game in the 2007 playoffs.
  • Jeff Fisher is 0-6 against the Chargers.  They are the only NFL team he has never beaten.
  • Vince Young, who may or may not play, has also been really bad against the Chargers.  Here are his numbers:
Game Comp Att % Yds TD INT
2006 7 20 35% 106 1 0
2007 (RS) 13 21 62% 121 0 2
2007 (Playoffs) 16 29 55% 138 0 1
2009 8 21 38% 89 0 2
Totals 44 91 48% 454 1 5

Yeesh.

Remember this is a late start on CBS.  The TV broadcast will be handled by Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts.  Here is the map of who will get to see the game.
