Titans 37 Eagles 19 Quick Recap

Kenny Britt blew up for 225 yards and three touchdowns of 26, 80, and 16 yards as the Titans rolled to 5-2 and sole control of the AFC South.

The turning point occurred in the third quarter, when Kevin Kolb was stripped by Jason Jones, and MCMer Alterraun Verner jumped on the ball. It was all Titans from that point on, as the Titans exploded for 27 points in the fourth quarter, a franchise record.

Kenny Britt accounted for more than 2/3 of the Titans offense today, and had the best day a wide receiver has had in the NFL this season. And that was all in less than three quarters after he didn't start and was benched for the first quarter as punishment for his nightclub incident Friday morning. Britt really saved Kerry Collins today, on a day that fans at LP Field booed after his second interception.

This was a huge win for the Titans, especially finding a way to win without starting quarterback Vince Young. The Titans are on the road starting next week in San Diego until November 21.

More on this game in the upcoming days.
