Tennessee Titans Morning Links: Charitable Edition

Tennessee_titans_30x21 JJ Cooper torches The Tennessean's Gary Estwick for his accounting of the team's off-season progress.  Of course JJ is a huge Steelers fan, so his logic is typically narrow and rigidly tied to convention as he seems to assume that this year's D-Line will try to win with the same game plan rather than adapting to the new line-up.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Chris Hope recently held a fundraiser for Soul4Souls here in Nashville, which collects new and used shoes for distribution to those in need worldwide.  Hope also donates $100 to the fund for every tackle he makes.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Speaking of Titans charity work, Jeff Fisher's annual softball game has been scheduled for June 20th at Greer Stadium.  All proceeds go to Mercy Ministries, Soles4Souls, Catch-a-Dream, Nashville Children’s Alliance and various other local charities.  This event is a star-studded affair and a great time if you're in the area.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 As everyone knows Tony Kornheiser has left Monday Night Football and is being replaced by John Gruden.  I think Tony K is a very talented guy who may go down as the worst color analyst ever.  I'm hoping with Gruden in the mix the booth team will actually focus on the game, and not talk about themselves for 3 quarters if a close game.  Here Jim Wyatt gives his two cents.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Mike Florio is 'reporting' (he's just following the Twitter page of some guy at the NFL Network) that the 2013 Super Bowl will most likely be awarded to New Orleans this afternoon.

Now that the slower period of the off-season is upon us your help in finding out of the way Titans stories is more important than ever.  If you have a link you'd like to submit for tomorrow's Morning Links email me at mcmaugustwest@gmail.com!  (Be sure to include your commenting handle so I can give you glowing, semi-anonymous credit.)
