Terry McCormick takes a look at each of our 11 draft picks and the roles they'll be expected to fill early on and down the road for the Titans.
Bo Scaife's agent is a funny guy:
"To be honest with you, he decided to report and sign his tender in the hopes that something could be worked out long-term," Robinson said of Scaife. "He is the consummate team guy, and he wanted to work out with teammates and show his commitment to them."
Well according to Jim Wyatt, Scaife decided to come back because he didn't like being away from his teammates, despite his agent's advice to stay in Denver as a negotiating tactic.
So who will be this draft's 'poor man' pick who makes an impact on the Titans? The staff of the Tennessean takes a gander at the options.
Ross Tucker gives obtuse grades for the draft, and lumps the Titans in with the 'Steady as She Goes' group that also features the Steelers, Pats and Colts.
Joe Biddle is a friggin' rebel. That's the kind of edgy, original thinking we need in this country. Bravo for having the courage to take a stand, sir. (The fact that this article is running now, and not two years ago is a case study in why newspapers are dying).
UT running back Arian Foster signed a free agent deal with the Texans, but it's too bad that he won't get the chance to fumble for them because I'll lay $20 that Jeremiah Johnson (from Oregon) wins that spot.
