Wide receiver Brandon Jones didn't have to plead guilty for his misdemeanor unlawful possession of a firearm stemming from the incident at Nashville Airport last May, thanks to a pre-trial diversion. The charge will be dropped after a 6 month probation, provided he stays out of trouble.
Paul Kuharsky (always one of my favorites) is still poking Titans fans where it hurts, only now everybody can read it... good lord does the Tennessean miss him.
Now starting at Left Guard for your Tennessee Titans, Eugene Amano.
Bironas should be ready for the season opener, but most likely won't kick Thursday against the Packers.
LenDale and Chris Crazy Legs Johnson may split caries 60-40 for the Titans this year... no word on who gets the 60 (though one would almost assume it's going to be LenDale, given Fisher's history).
LenDale and Crazy Legs are also competing for love in the toughest of all arenas, fantasy football drafts:
"Titans cheerleader swimsuit release party Sept. 4". I swear that's what the headline says. Alas, the more family appropriate title, which is actually in the press release, is "Calendar Release Party and Swimsuit Fashion Show". Grab the new swimsuit calendar and meet the cheerleaders at Lot 7 next Thursday. Tickets are $25.
One AFC South related note: everyone please keep Texans receiver Harry Williams in your thoughts and prayers. Williams suffered a severe spinal injury playing against the Cowboys last week, and though doctors believe he will walk, he will most likely never be able to play again. You have to hate to see that happen to any young man.
