Tuesday Morning Titans Notes

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

The injury list is getting shorter:

Missing practice were defensive tackles Albert Haynesworth (back) and Jesse Mahelona (hamstrings), defensive end Travis LaBoy (hamstrings), receiver Jonathan Orr (leg), tight ends Ben Hartsock (ankle) and Jamie Petrowski (legs), tackle Mike Otto (knee), and cornerback Andre Woolfolk (hamstring).
Is Woolfolk ever going to get on the field.  I think his chance of making the roster right now is about 5%.  I also wish LaBoy would get back on the field.  If the Titans don't add any defensive line help, and I pray that they will, LaBoy is going to be a key to that unit.  It is just frustrating when guys are always missing for those nagging injuries.

There is no new news on Simeon Rice.  It doesn't appear that the Titans or the Giants have made him a contract offer.  I would imagine he just needs a little more time to heal before anyone is willing to bring him aboard.

Eric King is having a great camp.  He is a guy that I thought was a long shot to make the roster.  Paul Kuharsky said on the radio this morning that King has been playing great in the nickle and Finnegan has been playing great outside.  It will be interesting to see who plays where Saturday night.

Speaking of Saturday night, later in the week I will be having a 6 questions session with Will from Hogs Haven, our Washington Redskins blog.
