Tennessee Titans Sign Two Draft Picks

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

The Titans agreed to terms yesterday with 4th round pick Leroy Harris and 5th round pick Antonio Johnson.  Both deals are reported to be 4 year deals and probably include the scheduled minimum base salaries of $285,000 this year, $370,000 in 2008, $435,000 in 2009 and $510,000 in 2010.  Harris received a signing bonus of around $445,000 The Tennessean is reporting.

Two down and eight to go.  Reinfeldt said in the same linked article that he doesn't see any barriers to getting everyone signed in time to report to camp.  That is always good news.

In a totally unrelated to the Titans note, what in the world was Tony LaRussa thinking last night?  It blows my mind that he didn't send Albert Pujols to the plate in the bottom of the 9th last night.  I guess he didn't care that much since his team will not be participating in the World Series.  This just adds to my hatred for LaRussa and the St. Louis Cardinals.
