The Bears Cut Tank Johnson

This is very interesting.  Tank Johnson was stopped early Friday morning for speeding and then arrested when the officer suspected Johnson of being under the influence.  The police took blood but the results of the test are not yet known.

The Bears aren't waiting around for the resluts or going on any fact finding missions.  They showed him the door.  Here is a quote from the Bears GM Jerry Angelo:

"He compromised the credibility of our organization. We made it clear to him that he had no room for error. Our goal was to help someone through a difficult period in his life, but the effort needs to come from both sides. It didn't and we have decided to move on."
How bad does this make the Titans look?  They just allow a certain cornerback to have incident after incident with no repercussions.  They have excuse after excuse about why they can't cut him.

I commend the Bears for taking a stand.  Maybe the Titans will realize that this makes them look like fools and do the right thing.
