New SB Nation Blogs and Fantasy Football

In our continual pursuit of world domination, SB Nation has roled out 2 new NFL blogs.  My least favorite NFL team, the Rat Birds, will be covered at Baltimore Beat Down, and the Saints will be covered at Canal Street Chronicles.  These 2 additions make us only San Diego and Arizona shy of having the NFL covered.  I know you all love this blog so much that it is hard to tear yourselves away, but you really should check out some of the huge variety of blogs offered by SBN.  You can always get a quick synopsis of what's going on areound The Nation at the brand new SB Nation homepage.

I apologize for the lack of posting yesterday.  I took what was planned to be a quick day trip to Chicago to catch a Cubs game.  We flew out of Nashville at 7:05 yesterday morning with a return flight that was scheduled to leave Chicago at 9:15.  That plane actually left the lovely Midway Airport at 1 a.m.  There is nothing like spending 6 hours in an airport.  The Cubs pulled out a come-from-behind win, so all in all the trip was worth it.

I have decided that it would be a good idea for us to have a MCM fantasy football league.  For this to work we will need at least 10 teams but we could go up to 12.  I know that Don, Kayne, VY and I will all be playing.  That leaves 6-8 spots.  Please leave a comment below if you would like to play.  Once there are enough people that want in, I will set up a league on Yahoo.

In my one Titans nugget for the day, Chris Brown apparently has another suitor besides the Titans.  I love the first line of the article, "Chris Brown has narrowed it down."  If I were writing the article it would read, "After months of begging and pleading teams to sign him, Chris Brown finally found two moderately interested teams."  As I said earlier, at this point I am all for bringing him in and give him a shot.  A little competition never hurt anything, well besides Chris's feelings last year in camp.
