Kevin Mawae and Brett Favre

Joe Biddle had a column in yesterday's Tennessean about Mawae's feelings towards the Titans offseason.  He was especially frustrated about the loss of Travis Henry:

"I experienced a little bit of frustration when we lost Travis Henry. Especially him, because he was a big cog in what we did last year,'' Mawae said. "I think Brett Favre's voice might have a little more weight than mine does, but ultimately the management makes the decisions.''
I bet if you get most of the guys on the team to give a straight answer, they would have very similar things to say.  Henry was a good veteran player, both on the field and in the lockerroom.  It has to be tough for the guys that feel like they are at the end of their careers to see another offseason that was geared toward rebuilding.

I am not saying some of these rookies won't come in and contribute right away, but typically that is not the case.  Veteran guys want to see other veterans brought in that have proven themselves on the field.

Biddle also asked Mawae if he thinks Keyshawn will be a Titans.

"When it's time to go to work, it's time to go to work regardless of who you've got.''
I guess that is basically a no comment.
