The Clock is Under 24 Hours

In less than 24 hours we will immersed in NFL draft coverage.  This is one of the most exciting times of the year.  Since we are now less than a day away, I have decided to reveal my mock draft.  It is fairly similar to the one done by Zack in this diary.

A few disclaimers before the release:

  1.  This is not what I want to happen, but what I think will happen.  (That will be obvious when you read it as I have made my thoughts on the player I have the Titans taking perfectly clear.)
  2.  There will be trades in the first round.  I only included one because I think it is a sure thing.  There is no doubt in my mind that the Bucs will trade up to #2 to get CJ.  I have no idea what will happen beyond that.  The most popular rumor at this point is the Redskins at #6 making a deal with the Bears for picks and Lance Briggs.  There is a lot that has to happen for that to go down so I left the Redskins at #6.
Without further delay I submit the way the 2007 NFL Draft will go:
  1.  Raiders- JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
  2.  Bucs- Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
  3.  Browns- Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
  4.  Lions- Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
  5.  Cardinals- Joe Thomas, T, Wisconsin
  6.  Redskins- Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
  7.  Vikings- Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
  8.  Falcons- LaRon Landry, S, LSU
  9.  Dolphins-  Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
  10.  Texans- Levi Brown, T, Penn State
  11.  49ers- Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
  12.  Bills- Patrick Willis, LB, Ole Miss
  13.  Rams- Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
  14.  Panthers- Greg Olsen, TE, Miami
  15.  Steelers- Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
  16.  Packers- Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal
  17.  Jaguars- Reggie Nelson, S, Florida
  18.  Bengals- Darrell Revis, CB, Pitt
  19.  Titans- Ted Ginn, WR, Ohio State
  20.  Giants- Paul Posluszny, LB Penn State
  21.  Broncos- Jarvis Moss, DE, Florida
  22.  Cowboys- Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
  23.  Chiefs- Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
  24.  Patriots- Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida State
  25.  Jets- Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
  26.  Eagles- Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas
  27.  Saints- Ben Grubbs, G, Auburn
  28.  Patriots- Eric Weddle, S, Utah
  29.  Ravens- Joe Staley, T, Central Michigan
  30.  Chargers- Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC
  31.  Bears- Jon Beason, LB, Miami
  32.  Colts- Justin Harrell, DT, Tennessee
As I have said a million times, I hope the Titans don't take Ginn.  I just really have a feeling that is how it is going to go.  I am just praying that someone will take him before we are up at #19.
