The Associated Press is reporting that Travis Henry has won his appeal of his one year suspension for testing positive for marijuana. Henry was told in September that he had tested positive and would be suspended for the year. Henry sued the NFL to avoid the suspension and was allowed to play while the suit was being resolved.
Henry's appeal was based on the fact that an expert was not present for the testing of his "B" sample. In recent weeks Broncos' coach Mike Shanahan had come out saying that he believed Henry had not used any illegal drugs.
This is good news for the Broncos and Henry. It is better news for each of Henry's 9 children because daddy will be able to continue playing in the NFL and earning money so they can eat.
