ESPN is always coming up with these stupid names for the upcoming Saturday in college football. I have decided that this Sunday will henceforth be known as "Separation Sunday." This is the Titans biggest game of the season. A win would basically put 3 games between the Titans and the Jaguars. It would put the Titans 2 games up in the loss column, but with a sweep, the Titans would own any tiebreaker between the two teams.
Coming into this season, I would have expected the defensive stats of these two teams to be switched. The Jaguars were supposed to have the dominant defense, and the Titans' defense was supposed to be suspect. I am really glad that it has turned out the way it has, obviously.
The Jaguars are still solid against the run. They are, however, pretty weak against the pass. Last week Drew Brees put up 445 yards and 3 touchdowns against them. This could be the first game that the Titans need Vince Young to win for them.
