David Givens was probably the biggest dissapointment to Titans fans this season. The Titans gave Givens a 5 year $24 million contract with an $8 million signing bonus before the season. Givens's season was cut short when he suffered an ACL injury in week 10. He had already missed 4 of the first 9 games with a thumb injury.
It is entirely to early to call the signing a mistake. The knee injury Givens suffered was a freak thing and by all accounts Givens is a great guy and a hard worker. He is on a schedule similar to the one Brandon Jones was on last year so hopefully he will be ready to go when the 2007 season starts.
