This is going to be the most fun we have had looking at the various power rankings.  There are 2 reasons for this.  The 1st reason is because the Titans are going to make a huge jump in each ranking.  The 2nd reason is because the Colts will no longer be #1 in any ranking.  After the loss to Jacksonville I thought the Titans would do well to finish the season in the top 25.  Now it is a real possibility the Titans could finish in the top 10.  I know none of this really matters but it is something that is fun to discuss.

We will start this week with the computer rankings.  The Titans are up to #13 from #15.

Here is the top 5:

1.  San Diego
2.  Indy
3.  Chicago
4.  New England
5.  Baltimore

Next we look at ESPN.  The Titans moved to #16 from #23.

Their top 5:

1.  San Diego
2.  Indy
3.  Dallas
4.  Chicago
5.  New England

The ESPN love fest with the Cowboys and Tony Romo is at an all time high.

CBS Sportsline has the Titans up to #19 from #24.

Their top 5:

1.  San Diego
2.  Indy
3.  Baltimore
4.  New England
5.  Chicago

Fox Sports has the Titans making a huge jump to #15 from #22.

Their top 5:

1.  San Diego
2.  Indy
3.  New England
4.  Baltimore
5.  Dallas

It is hard for me to believe the Cowboys are a better team than the Bears.

The Titans come in this week with an average spot of 15.75.  That is amazing for a team that was thought to be competing for the #1 overall pick in the draft.  Things will only get better from here if the Titans continue their progression this week in Houston.

This Texans game scares me a little on one hand because the Titans will be going there coming off the biggest win of the season and probably of the last 3 years.  There could be a possibilty for a let down in a game the Titans are expected to win.  On the other hand this is a game that is extremely important to the organization.  Bud Adams will never allow this team to overlook a game in Houston as long as he is the owner.  Plus VY will be poised for a great game in front of his hometown crowd.  This game will be close to a home game for the Titans because about 85% of the fans are going to be cheering for VY.
