Edge is not getting any younger and the ground game has been very inconsistent for years now.  Stewart will finally bring some needed balance to this offense.  He is the whole package, great vision, speed, power, and the ability to make guys miss. The only question mark is his durability.  What better way for a young back to learn the ropes of the NFL than to split time with Edge for a year, a back that had a lot of the same abilities.

While the Cards do have need for a corner with A.Rolle moving to Safety, they have a halfway descent starter in E.Green and a very solid Corner in Rod Hood. There is no CB available with near the value that Stewart brings at this pick.
