........the Kansas City Chiefs select Sederick Ellis, defensive tackle, University of Southern California. Hop on over to Mocking the Draft (MTD) to read Silver and Black's write-up, as well as the grade from MTD.

It is not surprising to see the defensive lineman fly off the board in light of what the New York Giants were able to do in the Super Bowl. This would be a really good year for the Titans to be picking in the top 5.

The New York Jets are now on the clock..

i'm so enamored by the thought of drafting an elite Dlineman, i'd trade up to do it....

teams like the falcons or jets have been rumored to be looking to trade down...

we have the cap space to absorb the huge contracts top players recieve.....and getting someone like Gholston would be worth multiple picks, IMO....

If they took Ellis, then 2 years from now

the Chiefs would regret not taking Dorsey instead, IMO... he's far more dynamic than anyother D-lineman in the draft.

I agree. Dorsey has fallen way too far.

He was perhaps the most dominant player in the most dominant conference last year. Not taking him is just silly. I'm not a fan of trading up, but if the guy were to keep falling, it might be worth thinking about to get him considering that is perhaps the most talented player in the whole draft. Moving from 24 to say 10, that's doable.
