Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

Falcons Cut Alge Crumpler

This has already been mentioned a couple places on this site, but I think the Titans should be the first team to put a call into him.  There is no better way to make a young quarterback feel comfortable in the passing game than to give him a reliable, big play option at tight end.

Crumpler was banged up for most of the season and hampered by terrible quarterback play, but he was still able to put up 42 catches and 5 touchdowns.   As long as he is healthy, there is no reason the Titans should not make a run at him.  He would give the Titans a big play option that they desperately need.

I would love
I would love to have a TE like Crumpler on our team. Crumpler seemed to excel in a situation where there was a running QB.  Crump has that intangible where he knows how to get open when the QB is moving.  If he could build the chemistry with Vince as he did with Vick this could lead to a deadly combo.

Crumpler and Rod Coleman
Crumpler- Get him now. NOW. NOW.
Rod Coleman- Look into him. He could add to the depth we need for in interior of the line.

Oh Yea
If we arent one of the first teams in line trying to get this guy on our team i am going to be really mad. He's been a stud in Atlanta for the past couple of years and would be an awesome weapon for Vince Young.

I love Aige Crumpler
He is alot like Tony Gonzales and Antonio Gates.  There are not many of them out there on par with Crumpler.

Hmm
A 4-time pro-bowl TE who is particularly effective in the red zone and is a stand-up character guy...I really can't see how he could help the Titans.
Am I too cynical to think he will end up a Bengal or a Cardinal or a Colt?

he would
Alge would be a great addition to our team.  We already have Bo but Alge is such a sure handed weapon that we are lacking.  He would also provide that veteran leadership with the WRs and TEs that we are lacking.  Lets sign him already!!!!

Wow
You've already mentioned that you'd love to have him, we get the point.

Man, if we get Crumpler and Chad we will have more veteran leadership and better work ethic than any team in the league!

LOL
Imagine if we can coax Jerry Rice out of retirement. We will have the most veteran leadership and best work ethic in the history of the NFL!!! :D
Go Titans!
