Pacman Jones Still Making It Rain

Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper is reporting that an arrest warrant has been filed for Pacman Jones in Atlanta.  He is accused of striking an Atlanta defense attorney Wanda Jackson at a strip club around 3 a.m. on January 3rd.

Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones is accused of striking a woman in a north Atlanta strip club on Jan. 3, according to a report from WSB-TV report in Atlanta.

The woman, an Atlanta defense attorney named Wanda Jackson, apparently has filed an arrest warrant in Fulton County Magistrate Court against Jones, whom she accused of striking her in the Body Tap Strip Club around 3 a.m. on the morning in question.

We don't know how much there is to this, but we do know he was hanging out at strip club at 3 a.m.  I am done with him.  I am reinstating my ban on saying his name after this post.  It is time for the Titans to cut him.

Bah!
That really sucks. I was looking forward to seeing him teamed with Finnegan, but I am done with him now too... sheesh what an idiot.

Aw, hell.
So much for the theory that his year off had made him learn something.

Anyone else notice
that the WSB-TV website in Atlanta is the only place reporting this?  Kind of fishy.

And what is a defense attorney doing in a strip club at 3:00 AM--wait, I know the answer to that.

Drumming up business I guess.

Reminds me of the spitting incident.

After reading the article in the Tennessean,
it looks like the attorney was there advising the club and/or some of the dancers.  One wonders if the club guys called her as soon as Pac showed up.

not to defend him...
but let's get some more facts.  however, he shouldn't be doing that anymore!!

fitting
Pacs whole NFL 'career' so far has been just like a strip club: all the awesome teasing, but no pay off in the end.

Just a truly awful jackass.

Argh.
Even if he's only CHARGED with misconduct, that will probably be enough to get him banned for another year--at least.  After all the bad stuff with Mike Vick, et al., the NFL just does not have time for this sort of thing anymore, and the NFLPA isn't going to come to the rescue.  The endorsement deals for the non-bad boys are too lucrative.

I just do not understand this.  Even Tank Johnson somehow made it back in the League.  What is it with Pac?  It's like he just cannot control himself... which I suppose may, in fact, be true.

How disappointing.  I wanted him back, too.

Pac Man Jones
is on my Phillip Rivers list. Can't stand him anymore. Don't want to hear about him, or see him ever again.

He Who Is Called Defendant
I say we offer Adam "He Who Is Called Defendant" Jones to a CFL team for a only a bag of peanuts, just to prove a point to this douche when they say no.

I just hope
that the NFL bans him for life.

So we don't have to take a cap hit and watch him flourish with the Raiders.

Go Titans!

more facts please
you got to think about it.  a  female attorney accuses him.  shes out for bucks, she proablly knows his background and came up with some bogus claim to get a settlement and make money.

by dentureboy on Jan 15, 2008 4:48 PM CST reply actions

should know soon
According to the statement she made being quoted by newspapers, there were witnesses.  If it's a bogus claim that will be very apparent.  If people saw him punch her, that's assault, and it's gonna be a warrant.

I'm actually surprised the Judge won't be deciding on the warrant until Feb 8th.  Nashville moves much more quickly on assault charges.

Some news reports are saying that Jackson is an employee of the club.  The Tennessean article today doesn't make it clear who she is (doesn't say employee or attorney either one).  I'm sure we'll here lots more about this tomorrow...

This makes the 6th arrest since 2005
Repeat offender seems to fit very well for him.  I don't think the Titans want any part of him, he will cause trouble for the whole organization.
Whether the allegations are true or not something unsavory has surfaced again and his creditbility is questionable. He is a phenomenal athlete but more trouble than what he is worth.

divorce case? huh???
ESPN is reporting one juicy snippet I don't see anywhere else:

"Jackson told police the next day she was at the club because she was handling a divorce case that involved Adam Jones. No one could be reached Tuesday afternoon at the club's listed phone number."

what what what????  She's at a strip club handling a divorce case involving Pacman?  I knew he had a kid, but is he even married?  And how the heck is a stip club involved in the divorce proceedings if he is married????  And finally, if it turns out he punched his wife's divorce attorney, well that's not assault surely. ;-) kidding.  kinda.

Good heavens, this guy is a walking reality TV show!

and another ponderable
Hmmm, in Jackson's statement, she refers to a Veronica Jones as a witnesse and owner of the strip club.  So is Veronica maybe Pacman's wife?  So is Pacman's wife a strip club manager????  How did we not know this already if so?

Wild surmises based on zero facts.

I guess
we won't have to worry about him. It's hard to play football if he's in jail.
