well.... I like all the names
How in the world would a Harry Douglas cause any trouble? That's right, he wouldn't! :)
I say draft 'em!
Retarded
Harry Douglas? Draft tek is using 2007 preseason rankings. Douglas will be there in the third.
WRs
1 Malcolm Kelly
2 Dsean Jackson
3 Earl Bennett
4 Early Doucet
5 Adarius Bowman
6 Donnie Avery
7 Devin Thomas
8 Limas Sweed
9 Mario Manningham
10 DJ Hall
11 James Hardy
12 Harry Douglas
TE
We need a guy who can split the seam ie someone who runs faster than Rucker's 4.9 40. Finley is perfect and may be there in the third. I would move up to get him and avoid that chance.
DE
Merling may be the second fastest DE, behind Quentin Groves.
My take
1st draft pick - the best defensive lineman we gan get, most preferably DT, obviously.
2nd pick - Depending on what we get through free agency (WR or TE), draft the other. Maybe with return potential. Drafting a pass catcher is a crap shoot, but we might get lucky.
3rd and on - linemen, both O and D, should be the top priority.
We need a good TE. I'm sorry, but Troupe and Scaife have been around long enough. They're not getting it done, time to move on. A dependable TE is a QB's best friend. Names like Bavaro, Gonzales, Wychek, Novacek, Witten, Gates all go to show how important a standout at TE is to a QB.
Is it hust me, or does Justin Gage remind anybody else of Alvin Harper?
