The Titans Name Vince Young and 4 Others Captain

The NFL is putting a new emphasis on team captains this year. Today the Titans announced the 5 guys the players elected as captains. The 5 guys are Vince Young, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Keith Bulluck, Kevin Mawae, and punter Craig Hentrich. All 5 guys will be wearing a "C" on their jerseys.

The Titans will also have a 6th captain that will be named on a game by game basis.

Jeff Fisher had this to say:

"They are all excited about wearing the `C' patch on their jersey," Fisher said. "I think it's good."

Kyle Vanden Bosch had this to say about being elected by his teammates:

"To me it's one of the biggest honors you can have," he said. "It's not something that comes from the coaches, it's the teammates. And you can't fake leadership around your teammates because they know who's real and who's not."

Now if only someone would tell us who is starting at corner.

I just got NFL SUnday Ticket andn now I can see the titans every week. I don't have direct TV so I have to get it installed just for the package.

I think the team Captain thing is cool. I kinda like three captains but I can settle of the 5 or 6 we have lol. Oh yeah.... and I'm breaking in the new name now. Now hopefully we will break the Jaguars!
