Michael Vick Tests Positive for Marijuana

I guess Michael Vick figured he might as well enjoy his week now because he won't be able to have it when he goes to jail. ESPN.com is reporting he tested positive on a marijuana test that was given September 13th.

We can certainly sympathize with Falcons' fans who are tired of hearing about this every time they turn on the TV or open a newspaper.

Here is my question: Who has more NFL games left in their life #32 or Michael Vick. I am going with #32 but only because, as of now, he won't be spending any time in jail.

I would say 32 will play again. Can't say
that I would like to see him in a Titans uniform though.

I agree with that
He plays agains unless something else happens. Will it be here? I don't think so.

Team chemistry
I don't think he'd fit these days, anyway.

That's what i am thinking. Some players are a
cancer to the team.  I don't think #32 can turn the ego off or even down enough to be a positive force in the locker room.  Yes he is a hell of an athlete but there are intangibles.

Let's
assume #32 comes back to the Titans this year.  Let's also Assume that the light has finally gone on upstairs.

I think we can all agree that Harper is playing outstanding football.  they don't throw to much to his side much.

Now let's bring a WELL behavied #32 back.  How do you now feel about our Secondary?  #32, Harper, Finnegan (nickle) Hope, Lowry.  With Back ups of Fuller, Nickey, Griffin, Herndon and Hill.

Now I don't know about you guys, But that would be one hell of a secondary to me.  #32 is as much a shut down corner as he is a thug.

Look back at the Colts game.  Their Rookie was making some big plays, Harper had Harrison locked up, Finnegan did well on Wayne.  Throw in #32 on Harrison, Harper on Wayne and Finnegan on the slot WR (rookie)  Manning would be hurting.  Still keeping Hope and Lowry back in a 2 deep zone.

Anyways we have a few court dates and 7 more games before we can think about it

Well
It WOULD be nice to move Griffin back to Safety.

Just sayin'.

by Rustmeister on Sep 26, 2007 3:41 PM CDT up reply actions

Can we trade him?
We're set in the secondary - so can we shop him around??  Not that I really want to, just want to know if it is an option.

I wouldn't
say we are set!  Harper is in his 30's.  He's doing good this year and Griffin has shown flashes of being good, but I wouldn't say we are sure if he can handle corner. THOUGH he did do it in college.

But I still wouldn't say we are set

I agree White
bring him back, but he betta reckanize that he is on a short leash!  And then move Griffin back to safety, at least as long as Harper is around.

Heck, we may not even make another 7 weeks without a #32 blow up.  As a matter of fact we may have just jinxed it just by speaking his name.  Kind of like Beetlejuice.

Go Titans!

Pro Football Talk
has a great slow motion youtube version of the classy Patriots at it again.

But
If her were to be called "Thunder" like at USC, we'd have a damn good AC/DC song to play when he scores.

I still like Kong, though.

Ya know, some folks say a sign of true intellect is to be able to hold two opposing positions on a single issue. If that's the case, I must be a freakin' genius.  =P
