No LJ, Yes Albert
Also, notice Mike Williams is on the inactive list.  Is he hurt, or did he just not pan out to what we had hoped for?

Fisher finally realized that these are must win games so Haynesworth must play regardless.

pressure
IMO, it is b/c we can't get pressure on pass plays and our front 4 is getting pushed back on run plays....

i wish it wasn't this way, but our success is almost totally tied to how good our front 4 do...

this might be fat al's worst game of the year...

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 1:14 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

stuff
i wish the announcers would tell us why Hill is in...

chow sucks

we need more pressure on the qb

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 1:12 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Why do the Chiefs want this more??
They aren't playing for anything.

gut check time
our guys need to realize that this is it....win or go home...

time to suck it up and quit being such girls....

pressure the freaking qb...tackle the freaking wr's...

Oh, good lord.
This is terrible.  We're back to the "can't stop anybody" defense.

Argh.

announcers are terrible...if anyone has a radio handy, see what they are saying...

Harper's hurt.
Haynesworth has been in sparingly.  Fuller was the guy down on the turf.

How on earth is it that...
...Lendale White is gaining almost 5 yards/carry, and yet we're still losing time of possession?

Is Norm Chow the head coach of UCLA yet?  I hope he takes that job.

Lendale
Is getting 8-9 yards on a couple of carries - and then nothing for a couple of carries.

by Texas Wahoo on Dec 16, 2007 1:21 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I still think they need to stick with it.
The passing game has not been there.  The running game has been producing.  I say ride it and make a statement.

Are we really
planning on losing to the kansas city chiefs?? when a loss basically eliminates us from the playoff race??

by Rush8192 on Dec 16, 2007 1:21 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

No basically to it....
....we lose and we are done.
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles

by Jimmy on Dec 16, 2007 1:25 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Haynesworth is in about 20% of the snaps
and it doesn't look like he's getting a lot of help from the other d-linemen when he's in.

Puts way too much pressure on Vince to not turn the ball over.

by TitansFisher on Dec 16, 2007 1:23 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

im starting to feel sorry for
Vince Young... this team is filled with a bunch of jokers and no talent athletes... I can feel him wanting to win this game so badly but the receivers are not dependable, the plays are predictable and the defense is not stopping anybody...

by ElectricScissors on Dec 16, 2007 1:28 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i'm pretty sure
that Lendale White is about 300 pounds of solid playmaker.

by Rush8192 on Dec 16, 2007 1:34 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I understand....
....what you are saying, but I can't figure out why he doesn't just take over the game.  He did that last year.
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles

by Jimmy on Dec 16, 2007 1:36 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I'm not sure he's being allowed to...
I think they are putting handcuffs on him because of the picks.  And the fact that when he throws it tends to be third down or 2nd and 10-11

by Texas Wahoo on Dec 16, 2007 1:42 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

haynesworth
is such a baby. suck it up and play for your team, desperate for a win. im starting to dislike him more and more each game. i feel like he's thinking he proved that he's dominant, so he doesnt need to play anymore and will just cash in in the offseason from anyone, the highest bidder. thats scummy.

by titanbt53 on Dec 16, 2007 1:40 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

horrible
cbs and the announcers are horrible today....

not even sure who they are, but i miss the gannon team b/c that play-by-play guy that works with gannon is always on top of things like substitution and down/distance....

and that view was horrible....then no replay of him being out of bounds...

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 1:52 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Finally
airing it out a little.

wish ealy makes that catch
it was high, but still got his hands on it

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 1:52 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

KC
usually falls apart in the second half.

by Rustmeister on Dec 16, 2007 2:00 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Well its becoming pretty
obvious that Vince is the only 1 handcuffing Vince. The runs are there, and he's passing them up. Literally.

NORM CHOW- its also becoming pretty obvious that he sucks! Most O-coordinators can get a feel and a rythym for the game. He cannot. I believe that we as fans are getting a feel for the game more than he is. Thats pretty horrible!

by Big Bad Bulluck on Dec 16, 2007 2:00 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Just Curious
How do you know Vince is not being told to run less?

by Texas Wahoo on Dec 16, 2007 2:01 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

They keep saying....
....they tell him to run when he sees it.
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles

by Jimmy on Dec 16, 2007 2:02 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Because the
f'n coaches aren't trying to lose. Even Mawae said that Vince is the one keeping himself from taking off.

by Big Bad Bulluck on Dec 16, 2007 2:03 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Calm down
Not all of us live in Tennessee and have all of this information.  I have only gotten one Titans game here in Virginia all year - I was just asking.  I know the coaches don't want to lose.

by Texas Wahoo on Dec 16, 2007 2:11 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I don't live
in Tennessee, sorry for getting mad. These dudes just piss me off. The announcers eluded to it during the game. And myself, I find it hard to believe that they would tell him not to run, everyone knows thats our best chance for success at this point in is career.

by Big Bad Bulluck on Dec 16, 2007 2:13 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Agree
with both points.

I can't help but wonder if Vince has had running coached out of him.

by Rustmeister on Dec 16, 2007 2:03 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

on their running plays
watch the TE in motion, he keeps moving forward before the snap...should be a penalty....

just went up 9 on pittsburgh.. not that it looks like it will matter anyway.

by Rush8192 on Dec 16, 2007 2:04 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

we can't tackle
bowe > griffin

probably another draft mistake

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 2:05 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I don't know
I like Griffin. But I'm glad I didn't have to watch Lowry all season. Cuz he's terrible. Him and Fuller, miss a lot of tackles.

by Big Bad Bulluck on Dec 16, 2007 2:07 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i agree
but bowe would be our best WR

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 2:08 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

but its kind of like pick your reason for sucking, either WR or FS.

by Big Bad Bulluck on Dec 16, 2007 2:09 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i'd like to thanks the titans

run the ball and win. Can someone let Chow know.

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 2:12 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

time
for 2 short runs and an incomplete pass and then a punt...c'mon chow, i know you

by zackmann on Dec 16, 2007 2:13 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Sacks
In wins: 3.0 / game

In losses: 1.6 / game

In losses (excluding Chargers "game"): 1.0 / game

Today: 0.

Haynesworth matters a lot, but the fact that the defense is built entirely around frontline pressure makes him matter way more than any player should.

Titans better get the lead as soon as possible.  I've got a bad feeling about this one.  This game should have been a complete blowout.

by TitansFisher on Dec 16, 2007 2:13 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

maybe
we should just let VY call all the plays himself.. it couldn't possibly turn out any worse..

by Rush8192 on Dec 16, 2007 2:14 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if he would have dropped that ball, i probably would have busted my TV or punched a hole through the wall

It must be SUPER cold out there.
Ultra-sloppy stuff.

All we need here is a long drive with any kind of offensive score at the end of it.

BTW, LenDale White needs about 50 more yards for his first 1,000 yard season.  This would be a good time for it.
