If he can keep himself out of trouble..
Harper is a short term fix, and though he has played well, we will eventually need a long term option to start opposite Finnegan, and PacMan has shown flashes of greatness that I think could one day turn him into a Pro Bowler.

Pacman started off slow, but since the start of the season he has managed to stear clear of any other "incidents". He is a very young man with way too much money. I think he deserves another shot.

I don't believe he was ever a lockerroom disruption (other than all the press), and team chemistry will likely not be hurt by his return.

So I don't see any reason not to give him a chance. Especially since releasing him is a waste of money and we'd never get proper value if we traded him.

Plus, imagine our secondary next year if he returns to form.

I thought the Titans were prepared to take him back and had prepped a roster spot in the unlikely eventuality that he was able to come back.  And so, with that in mind, I think we'll see him back next year--as a Titan.  Of course, the depends on what happens in the off-season, but I've always thought that TN's offseason moves this year could only be understood as hope that Pac could return but preparation for his eventual banishment.

With a full offseason and training camp, I'd personally like to see Pacman get another chance.  

I'll add to that if either the LVPD or the Atlanta PD had any real evidence, those cases against him would have moved forward SOMEWHERE by now.  As it is, I think those two PDs were trying to make him sweat.  Essentially, reading between the lines, I think the Commissioner's guidance was to resolved the current cases with pleas to misdemeanors in order to return in 10 games.  But the various PDs want Jones to testify and so refused those deals.  As a result, the suspension was not lifted.  And now the PDs must actually press their cases, with the likely result that charges will either be dropped or result in ultimate exoneration.

A better question then is this: if Pac IS ultimately NOT convicted of ANYTHING, then for how much can he sue the NFL and/or the Titans?

It seems to me this could turn out to be another Lawrence Phillips.  He was a former running back who had tremendous ability but could never stay out of trouble in college or the pros.  He eventually was cut and I dont know if anyone really misses him.

Also, I'd love to trade him, but who's going to give up  a draft pick for a guy who's more likely to be returning his tray to the prison lunchroom than returning kicks next year?  He hasn't even gotten to his courtdate yet and Titans fans are already forgiving him.

Yeah, he may yet shape-up, but I have ZERO percent faith he'd shape-up on this franchise... I mean what does he have to do to get kicked off?  Pull the trigger himself, or have the next father who is doing his job end up dead instead of paralyzed?

When he would probably fit in fine if he came back with a positive attitude!

Saw that article, and I'm a little cynical about it... NFL players usually go to extremes not to criticize teammates, no matter how much they want to, in public; doesn't anyone else remember the Pacman who would turn around and start jawing like a menstruating schoolgirl at any DB or Linebacker he thought made a mistake in coverage?  He was obviously not liked on that sideline... why even risk that negativity with a life-long jerk?  Is 10 more yards per kick return worth it?

Pacs cap hit will be WAY less than it could be because Reese planned for this by making most of Pac's money non-guaranteed incentives (remember the hold-out his rookie year).

He's good, but he still has shown very little actual progress (in terms of charity work and attitude), and has done nothing to make amends with the Titans fans and people of Nashville.

If he makes it back, then he better be happy to be on Fisher's sh*t list and earn back respect from us with big plays and hard work.
