It is time to take a look at where the so-called experts think the Titans rank against the other teams of the NFL.

7. Titans

For the fourth time since Jeff Fisher became head coach, the Titans have started 3-1. Good news for Tennessee: On those three previous occasions, they made the playoffs.

The Titans didn't win pretty on Sunday, but a win's a win, and Tennessee will take 'em any way they come. Vince Young struggled, going 20-of-33 for 157 yards en route to throwing three interceptions without a touchdown. The defense carried the load, though, holding the Falcons to under 200 yards of offense and forcing three Atlanta turnovers. With the game on the line, Kyle Vanden Bosch came up with a crucial fourth down sack, sealing the 20-13 win. The 3-1 start hasn't gone to the Titans' heads, though. Linebacker Keith Bulluck explained after the game, "As a team, we have to come together and start playing like it. We're 3-1, and it could be a lot worse." Gritty, humble, and defensively sound -- it's been a great start of the season for Tennessee.

Overcoming turnovers was the theme of the week in the NFL. Tennessee turned the ball over 5 times, but still pulled out a 7 point victory over Atlanta. The Titans defense turned in another strong performance holding the Falcons' offense to under 200 yards... And thanks to losses by Green Bay and Seattle, the Titans move up 2 spots in the power rankings.

Well, Tennessee is 3-1, but they barely beat Atlanta in week 5 and Vince Young looked awful, throwing three picks and accounting for no scores. But a win is a win for Fisher's bunch.

Those guys have a good point.

I agree with most of those guys. We DO need to win because of VY and not in spite of him.

And I agree with whoever said Norm Chow's play-calling has become predictable. Personally, I think they'll bounce back against Tampa, but make o mistake, the offense DOES need a bounce.
