Kuharsky has an update this morning on the names the Titans have met with so far and the ones they are still expected to meet with before the search ends.

My hopes are that the Titans will go after one of these guys who has never been a GM before and not a retread guy like Mueller.  Most guys that are former GMs have former in front of GM for a reason.  Mueller is one of those guys.

The NFL finally decided last year that hiring guys who haven't done the job before was a good idea.  There were a number of guys hired to be head coaches that had never been head coaches before.  Look at the success guys like Eric Mangini and Sean Peyton had this year.  I think the success can be similar for GMs.
