Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to get another start at quarterback for Cincinnati, as Carson Palmer is listed out for Sunday's home game against Pittsburgh because of a sore throwing elbow.
Fitzpatrick completed 20-of-33 passes for 152 yards in a 26-14 road loss last weekend to the New York Jets. He also started a 20-12 home defeat to Cleveland on September 28.
The 2005 seventh-round draft choice out of Harvard will try to give the Bengals their first victory of the season on Sunday. The Bengals are 0-6 for the first time since losing their first seven games of the 2002 season under Dick LeBeau.
Fitzpatrick has a tough task ahead of him, as the Steelers are 7-0 in Cincinnati since last losing there in 2001. That includes a playoff win following the 2005 season.
Palmer hurt a tendon in his throwing elbow during a 26-23 road loss to the Giants on September 21. For the season, the USC product has completed 75- of-129 passes for 731 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions in four games.
