McCargo returns to practice with the Bills

Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - Defensive tackle John McCargo was back practicing with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, a day after a failed physical voided his trade to the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts thought they had acquired some help for their defensive line when they dealt for McCargo just before the trade deadline on Tuesday, but the 6-foot-2, 307-pounder failed his physical exam due to a problem with a disc in his back.
McCargo, who the Bills took 26th overall in 2006, was expected to add depth at the position for Indy, which lost tackles Quinn Pitcock and Ed Johnson to injury earlier this season.
The North Carolina State product will remain in Buffalo, where he has been a disappointment so far. Appearing in 25 games over two seasons, McCargo has 35 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks. In four games this season, he has failed to register a tackle.
