Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Walker was hospitalized after developing a knee infection, head coach Jack Del Rio said Monday.
Walker sustained a minor MCL sprain in his knee in Jacksonville's 26-21 loss to the Steelers on October 5, and did not play in Sunday's 24-17 win over Denver. He developed the infection and was admitted to the hospital, where Del Rio said Walker was receiving a regimen of antibiotics as treatment.
The Jaguars have a bye this upcoming weekend, though Del Rio said Walker could miss a couple of weeks.
Walker has 12 receptions for 161 yards this season for Jacksonville.
