Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Houston Texans safety C.C. Brown suffered a fractured arm in Sunday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and will require surgery.
Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said after the contest that Brown will undergo surgery on Monday morning.
"We'll have to determine after the surgery how long he would be out," Kubiak said. "There is a chance that he could come back and play with a cast on."
A sixth-round pick of Houston out of Louisiana-Lafayette in 2005, Brown has registered 15 tackles in the Texans' first three games.
