Jaguars bring back Naeole

Sports Network | September 17, 2008

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed guard Chris Naeole.

Naeole spent the past six seasons with Jacksonville, but was released in March after an injury cut his 2007 season short. He missed the final eight regular- season games last year with a quadriceps injury suffered at New Orleans on November 4.

The 33-year-old Colorado product had started all eight games at right guard before the injury and had started each of his 87 games played for the Jaguars after signing with the club as an unrestricted free agent in April 2002.

Naeole spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Saints, who made him a first-round pick in the 1997 draft. He has started 150 of his 154 career games.

The Jaguars also made three moves to the practice squad, signing wide receiver D'Juan Woods and linebacker Lamar Myles while releasing offensive tackle Andrew Carnahan.
