Jags lose G Manuwai for season

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Jacksonville Jaguars guard Vince Manuwai will miss the remainder of the 2008 season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the team's 17-10 loss to Tennessee Sunday. Jags coach Jack Del Rio confirmed the injury at a Monday afternoon press conference. Manuwai is just the latest casualty of the Jacksonville offensive line. Center Brad Meester is out with a biceps injury, guard Mo Williams suffered a shoulder injury and may or may not be placed on injured reserve, and tackle Richard Collier was shot last week and is in critical condition.
