Media Approval
Media Approval Ratings: John Clayton
Clayton is probably the goofiest looking NFL reporter ever. I enjoy his reports though, and he always has good information.

Media Approval Ratings: Chris Mortensen
Mortensen probably breaks more stories than anyone out there. He is very well connected in NFL circles. He misses some every now and then, but I would say his overall percentage is pretty good.

Media Approval Ratings: Joe Biddle
Biddle is The Tennessean's other columnist. He has been a columnist for longer than I have been alive. Biddle can be heard on an afternoon radio show that airs on 560 AM. I think 5 or 6 people in Nashville listen to it.

Media Approval Ratings: David Climer
I can't believe I forgot the columnists. Climer is a columnist for The Tennessean. He also appears on the afternoon show on 104.5 ever Tuesday afternoon from 3:30-5:00. The stuff he writes is typically pretty good, and he makes for entertaining radio, but I don't care for the condescending tone that he takes with every caller.
What say ye?

Media Approval Ratings: Tom Jackson
Overall I am not a big fan of the ESPN Sunday coverage, but Jackson is actually really good on that show. He is one of the few guys on that show that provides a good breakdown of the games and what to expect in them.

Media Approval Ratings: Chris Berman
I was thinking of keeping the medial approval thing local, but then I realized that most of the people who read this blog aren't local anyway. So I have decided to extend this to the more prominent national media members as well. Thus I present to you Chris Berman.
Berman is an institution at ESPN. He is annoying, and some videos surfaced recently that showed he doesn't have the best attitude off camera sometimes, but he was a pioneer in the way the NFL was covered.

Media Approval Ratings: Willie Daunic
Willie Daunic appears with George Plaster on the The Sports Zone in the afternoons. He is the eternal optimist which can be refreshing in today's media.

Media Approval Ratings: Mark Howard
Mark Howard is another member of the Wake-up Zone team with Frank Wycheck. Howard likes to stir the pot, but I have never heard anyone as prepared for a show as he is.

Media Approval Ratings: George Plaster
If you live around here you are very familiar with George Plaster. Plaz is an institution in Nashville. He is "The Director" of the Afternoon Zone on 104.5. If you aren't from Nashville you can listen to him online at the 104.5 website everyday from 3-6 central time. He is very well connected in Nashville and always gets good interviews.

Media Approval Ratings: Terry McCormick
Terry McCormick is the Titans beat reporter for the Nashville City Paper. McCormick also appears on the Sports Zone on 104.5 for a daily Titans' update during the season. He has always been very helpful when I have asked him for any info for this blog.
