Titans Links!
Mariota is still recovering from his surgery, but that doesn't mean he can't do some work. Mularkey is working on figuring out ways to get Mariota some work while not jeopardizing his health. Mariota still hasn't fully ran yet, but Mularkey says there is no rush for him to do so. Mularkey says the team may do more 7-on-7 drills than they have ever done. The drills mean there will be no involvement from the offensive or defensive line, so Marcus won't be in any kind of danger of getting hit.
Quick Hit: Jason McCourty is going to sign with the Browns.
The Titans have made some changes to their college scouting department. Jon Salge has been promoted to Director of College Scouting, and Brandon Taylor has been promoted to national scout. The team has also hired two new area scouts: Mike Boni and Tom Roth. Super exciting stuff I know!
Quick Hit: Titans reach deal with Jonnu Smith.
Khalfani Muhammad is wanting to bring "lightning" to the Titans' backfield. The Titans already have "thunder and thunder" (sounds lame honestly) in backs Murray and Henry, so the team could use a little lightning. Muhammad was drafted in the seventh round, and Mularkey said it was fun to watch him and to see the things he did on tape. Mularkey also said that Muhammad had a really good work out with both himself and Robinson out in California, and that his speed is a nice change up.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
