Hot Takes & Venting about the current state of the Titans

I find it more frustrating that only 3 people cover the team and the local media is stuck with little access because the three beat reporters have to scratch backs. These dynamics are better documented in Oklahoma City with the Thunder, San Antonio with the Spurs, and a couple of other places as well...but the reality is that if our beloved Titans played in New York they would be ridiculed to great lengths.

This isnt to say one is better than the other---but the Titan organization has found themselves amidst the worst of both media worlds.

Paul K did go through Google to share with us this pearl today, "Amy Adams Strunk is the Annie Oakley of Texas: She can ride like the wind, and she's fearless," said Lt. Col. Dennis Foster told The Chronicle of the Horse in 2009."

Excuse the rant---but at this point selling the team seems like it would be the right thing to do and sooner rather than later. Alternating ownership between 5 people who seem to be relatively incompetent is absurd--

3 Highlights of our guy Tom Smith:

1. His peculiar relationship with bernard pollard

2. We are aiming for the SB in 2017

3. Offering a coach a 5 year contract who had no desire to utilize the current roster, despite only having intentions to be around for 2 years at most

I am a big Met fan and it really sucked when they got caught up in the Madoff scandal and lost all their bread. But after that they hired a good GM and cleaned up the squad and the plan was clear. It was low budget but they improved the organization on a budget. This is far worse..the entire ownership crew reeks of a combination of indifference more so than incompetence.

Good reporters in regular media climates would have reported what happened with Jake Locker, I do not care what any one says--there is more of a story with that man, his football coaches, and his career in Nashville.

Same with VY- to an extent

Good reporters in regular media climates would have reported more on the Munchank firing situation

Good reporters in regular media climates would have had more stories about ownership and turnover and potential buyers instead of waiting for the periodic Jason LaConfora (sp) tweet.

The covering of this Titan offseason and the covering of the QB position has been awful. The Titans will find another QB for camp to likely "compete for the job," it will not be Marcus Marriota, and the coverage of the options have been awful.

WHY ARE THERE NO PICTURES OF THESE OWNERS? ARE THEY REAL PEOPLE?

I really enjoy Nashville, the people, and this blog---

so thank you
