Greenlaw, who has lobbied for the Titans to sign O.J. Simpson, Rae Carruth, and Greg Hardy this offseason, is rejoicing because the Titans are bringing Dorial Green-Beckham in for a pre-draft visit, per Terry McCormick. Had Green-Beckham stayed out of trouble at Missouri, he might be in the conversation for the #2 overall pick- his raw ability is that good. Of course he didn't stay out of trouble at Mizzou, so he could go anywhere from the middle of the first to the third.
I think a team will fall in love with him and take him in the first round. If they don't, however, the Titans should take a long look at him with the 33rd pick. He would cost considerably less as a second round pick, and the Titans could structure the contract with a lot of incentives to force him to stay motivated.
It will take DGB some time to get acclimated to playing in the NFL. He hasn't played football in over a year, but we could be talking about a guy with top-5 talent in all the league here. Those guys aren't on the board at 33 very often.
