I Really Want Marcus Peters To Fall.

It should be common knowledge to everyone who knows what a football is that the Tennessee Titans could use some help at just about every position in their organization, one of which is cornerback. While Jason McCourty is and has been a solid corner for the entirety of his young career, he is under rated and under appreciated due to the lack of talent at the rest of his position. The Titans do not have a reliable number 2 corner, I like Blidi Wreh-Wilson, but he has not shown anything remotely close to what should be shown by a starting nfl corner, and Coty Sensabaugh should stay where he plays his best ball, in the nickel.

While there are many solid corners in this years draft, no ones tape pops off the screen to me like Ex Washington Huskies corner Marcus Peters. This guy has the package solid straight line speed, his instincts are off the charts, and his coverage, both man and zone are elite for his style of play. This guy should be a top 15 pick easily, possibly even a top 10, but his off the field actions have sent up a huge red flag. Peters was kicked off the team mid way through the 2014 season, and other reports have come out saying that he has done other less than smart things... Like choke out his coach. Overall while he looks outstanding on field, his off the field actions are not so promising.

Hopefully these actions have warranted the 30 teams that pick after us to pass on Peters allowing us to take him as a steal at pick 33. This would be great and would instantaneously boost our secondary by adding a potentially elite corner and extreme playmaker. I also think that he could behave under the veteran leadership of Jason McCourty. Also he has some in common with Wreh-Wilson. He gets mega hyped after plays he is involved in, accept the plays he makes are huge, not just coming I to clean up a tackle.

Anyways, that's my two cents on the Cornerback topic, what do the rest of you think?

Should we take a shot at Peters, or no?
