Just a few weeks ago, Lake Dawson was interviewing for every open general manager job in the NFL. Today the Titans have parted ways with Dawson. His name came up every year for openings around the league, and I have to admit that I never really understood why. Maybe it is because of the dominant roster he has helped put together in Tennessee #sarcasm.
Here is what Ruston Webster had to say about the move per Jim Wyatt:
This was not an easy decision and I want to thank Lake for his time with the team," Webster said. "This new structure will help us streamline things from both the college and pro perspectives. We will move forward without a VP of Player Personnel and the college and pro sides will report directly to me.
As I mentioned in this post, Bernard Pollard is one player who is not happy about the move:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Talk about the wrong guy getting fired. I can name a lot of players/people that SHOULD'VE been in that position today. Bad ball! Smh at yall</p>— Bernard Pollard Jr (@Crushboy31) <a href="https://twitter.com/Crushboy31/status/561297692333473793">January 30, 2015</a></blockquote>

I asked Bernard on Twitter who he thought should have been fired. I hope he responds, but he won't.
