Hangin with a Norseman!

Morning all you Titan fans! This is Grime rowing over from the mother ship at Daily Norseman to open up a friendly dialog about this weeks game. I know it's coming up quick but I thought I'd share and make this game a little more enjoyable for both sides of the field. Since it's the fourth and last preseason game the score isn't going to matter much(yeah right) but instead we'll be looking at the guys teetering on the edge of absolution or the end of their NFL dreams (and we want to win). So with that said let's get to it.

First the Vike's (who I hope win) We'll be starting the day off with Teddy Bridgewater who has been showing up nicely so far in the preseason, just not quite nice enough to unseat Cassel as the starter for the season. That might sound bad but I think when you see him play you'll realize most Vike fans are eager for the future. Behind him is Ponder who I hope has a monster game (but probably won't) because I would love to see this guy traded to another team and not take a roster spot up on mine. After that our offense is pretty well settled and you probably won't see many guys who are actually able to break into our starting roster.

On defense it's a bit different, our secondary and linebackers are to put it politely in a state of bloody flux. We have some positions nailed down, but our second safety and oour nickel CB are completely up for grabs as everyone who seems to step up into those positions gets injured and out of contention. So look to our secondary if you want to see some guys really balling it out for their lives. Also middle linebacker is up for grabs still working it out between Brinkley (who we cut two years ago) and Audie Cole (A practice squad hero..

So about your Titans? I have to admit I was a huge Locker fan when he came out and was bitterly disapointed when you grabbed him and we ended up with Ponder (even more bitter now). Do you think he has what it takes to lead you to the Super Bowl? Can he stay healthy a complete year? How badly do you think you'll be missing Johnson? I personally don't think that much at all, but I'm not in the know like you all are. How does the rest of your offense look? From what I see it's going to be the main strength of your team.

On defense are you really as bad as it looks? Or is this learning under a new coaching staff? Who are the players to watch? Where is the drama that makes the fourth season game bearable to watch?

So, a couple of questions to finish this massive diatribe. Who are your cusp players? Where do you think you are weakest at and how do you think you'll strengthen it? Do QB injuries just happen in Tennessee? What is your out look on the year and honestly who is your most hated team? I don't know much about the Titans and I appreciate you enlightening me.

So game predictions, Minnesota 24, Tennessee 17.
