That the Titans are going to win a Super Bowl with this current roster and with Ken Whisenhunt as the head coach of the Titans?
Are we so delusional as fans that we can't face the reality of what the Titans really are? The Titans have been, since Steve McNair (RIP) was shut out of the building, a middling team that has teased fans with potential but never actually gotten over the hump and become a contender and a winner. Nothing that has been done the past five years has made any discernible difference to this general trajectory.
The fundamental problem with the Titans is leadership, and it starts in the ownership suite.
Would anyone call the Titans a first class and innovative organization, like the Ravens (aka Ratbirds), Packers, Patriots, or Eagles, teams that have consistently fielded winning teams while maintaining salary cap discipline? Clearly not, given the results on the field.
What do you all think? What could the Titans being doing differently to change the fortune of our beloved Titans?
