My parents buy season club level tickets and with the team hiring a new coach and all they tried to wine and dine their season ticket holders. I usually don't get to go to the games but there was a stadium tour scheduled for season ticket holders, if they wanted to show up. My mom was busy so my dad asked me to go. I figured why not it could be fun. At the very beginning of the tour we where all set down in this nice club box. Then some guy came up and started talking about how this is the box they use to host big time clients and important business men (people better than us simple season ticket holding folk.) Then he said that he'd been with the titans organization for 15 plus years and had known the Adams family along with Tommy Smith. He stated that the past few years have been status quo( I didn't know 36-44 over the past 5 years was status quo, if status quo is below 50% were screwed) and that Tommy Smith and the Adams family say status quo will not be tolerated.
He then went on to say that one of the main complaints they had was concessions, with the quality of the food and time it took to get serviced. This year he promised that the Titans were in the process of finding a new food vendor, and that there would be NO WAITING in line at concession stands(he said halftimes a different story). Also he claimed this year the service will be impeccable. Plus free Wi-Fi. Then we were moved along to all the locker rooms, I noticed CJ2K had no jersey hanging in the locker room but they had some QB named Locker's jersey up. Very loyal to a man that has barely thrown for 2,000 yards let alone played a full season. We met T-Rac, out of costume. I am sure the kids loved finding out T-Rac is some 30 year old guy. Then someone asked T-Rac bout that time they got sued, and he was like yea some punter tried to rip us off. I was at that game at half time and the punter was warming up on the field with the Titans and Saints players while T-Rac was doing donuts in the center of the field. He turned his head to wave out the crowd or something and the punter had his back to the cart and T-Rac straight ran him over. They had to carry the poor punter out on a stretcher and im pretty sure he never played again. Towards the end we got to go to the field and see our names on the big screens. It was raining. Finally took us in to the club level to get some food. They had Jason's Deli which is a fine meal no complaints, except they only had wraps no bread or sandwiches. I mean common its a Deli. I didn't enjoy the tour but hey maybe other people did.
On April 3 the Titans announced they had agreed with a new food vendor. Aramark. Ive have known 5 people that work there and they all say never eat anything from that company. One guy said they peed in it for fun sometimes. Way to go Titans you sure didn't let me down. Don't piss on my face and say its raining. We are close to becoming the laughing stock of the league. I don't wanna be the Browns.
