I don't think its mentioned enough about a lack of leadership on this team. I know this falls back on a coach a lot of the time and that is ok. Somewhere along the line players need to be held accountable. Can anyone really name a group of leaders on this team since 03'? That team had Eddie George, Steve McNair, Frank Wycheck, Brad Hopkins, Jevon Kearse, Kevin Carter, a young Kieth Bullock, and a special teams leader in Craig Hentrich, throw in the Fish at the height of is glory in Tennessee. A huge core of unquestioned leader ship, sure there have been a few individual players since then, Kevin Mawae and Bernard Pollard to name two. It starts with the next Head Coach, he needs to bring fire get the players going, (remember Fishers epic halftime sideline speech in the super bowl). Once we get the Head Coach a core group of leadership has to emerge this is a must. There are players on this team that can fill that role. Jurrell Casey, J-Mac, Bonecrusher Pollard, Delaney Walker, Jake Locker, and i could see Brian Shwenke being a big time leader kinda like a Mawae almost. With leadership comes calm, cool, and collected in pressure situations and fourth quarters which leads to wins. It starts with the coach gentleman but the players have to follow suit.
