The first bad news for Florida was their starting QB Jeff Driskel's broken fibula, that everyone saw during the game, but today brought more bad news. DT Dominique Easley, a leader of the Florida defense, will miss the rest of the season, with a torn ACL and a torn medial meniscus.
Easley is currently ranked by cbssports.com as the 2014 draft's 4th best DT, and 48th best player, with walterfootball.com projecting him to be a 1st or 2nd round pick. The injury will probably negatively affect his draft stock to some degree, but it's hard to say how much right now, depending upon his recovery time. He may not be able to workout at the Combine, which is 5 months away, but moving the draft back a few weeks until early May (I think that starts in 2014) may give him time to get in a workout before the draft (7 1/2 months away).www.nationalfootballpot.com/Florida-loses-Easley-for-the-season.html
