Well that one stung a bit. In a game that put me through the full spectrum of emotions, it ended with a disappointing finish. I really really wanted that win. However, that game made me optimistic for the future, and you can be sure that the Titans are going to be pissed off and give San Diego everything they can handle and more.
Climer says the Titans have to learn to finish. I agree completely. We left a lot out there yesterday. It's not the end of the world by any means, just one game. 14 left to play and we enter a stretch where we can pick a game or two on the Texans as they enter a truly brutal stretch of games.
Again, the Tennessean says the defense wilted the last two drives, letting Hopkins go crazy to put us away.
Jim Wyatt has some quotes from a few of the players, including Jurrell Casey and Pollard. This game is going to haunt me til we put a whooping on the Chargers.
Postgame press conference from Munch, Jake, and CJ.
Craig Peters of Titans Online has a recap. Watching the highlights, Pollard absolutely decimated AJ. Oh my what a hit.
PK has a rapid reaction up. Titans have to remember this feeling, let it motivate them and move on to the Chargers.
Paul K has a good synopsis of how our offense sputtered for much of the day and how Locker was inaccurate at the worst possible moment.
Through 2 games, the Titans are a defensive team says PK. Big surprise. Just think if we can get our offense firing on all cylinders.
Fanspeak has a post up on the state of the Titans. Pretty positive.
