Jake Locker won the starting quarterback job in the preseason last year, but he didn’t exactly enter the regular season with confidence.
In his first preseason start, Locker was 4-of-11 passing for 21 yards and an interception. His passer rating in that game: 7.0.
In four preseason games, he completed just 51.7 percent of his passes, with a 71.3 rating.
With the full offseason with new offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains I hope it will result in Locker heading into the NFL season opener with much more confidence and momentum than he had last year.
