Did the Tennessee Titans improve? DE edition

Frederick Breedon

Simple question for you: Did the Tennessee Titans improve at defensive end from 2012 to 2013?

Adams_bud has been dying for the return of "Did the Titans improve?" Well here it is. Today we take a look at the defensive end position:

2012 defensive ends: Derrick Morgan, Scott Solomon, Kamerion Wimbley, Keyunta Dawson, Dave Ball, Jarius Wynn

2013 defensive ends: Derrick Morgan, Scott Solomon, Lavar Edwards, Kamerion Wimbley, Ropati Pitoitua, Keyunta Dawson

Advantage: Push

For the second straight offseason, the Titans didn't make the big move at defensive end that we were all expecting. They added an anchor and a mid-round pick, but they didn't do anything that absolutely upgraded the position.

Part of that is because they are really happy with the top two guys, and part of it is because they will use Akeem Ayers there is some pass rushing situations, but I still think they should have added one of the free agent guys that ended up going elsewhere on the cheap.

So what say you- Did the Titans improve at DE?
